Jenece Gerber is a healer who utilizes Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Reiki, and Music Medicine to bring harmony to a patient’s body/mind/spirit, uncover the root causes of disease and pain, and support the innate ability of the body to balance and heal itself.  Jenece holds advanced training in Trauma-Informed Care and is committed to creating a safe & supportive environment where patients can confidently access quality healthcare and learning. She is also a composer, singer, harpist, and yogi.

Jenece's focus is on delivering high quality, patient-centered care. In her acupuncture practice she leverages styles of both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Daoist Alchemical Acupuncture, adjusting her approach to compassionately meet the individual patient. Jenece thrives on continual research and learning. Her work includes treatment of pain conditions, mental health support, hormonal balance and pregnancy/gynecological concerns, supporting women through menopause, care during treatment for cancer and other significant conditions, allergies and infections, sleep issues, neurological conditions such as Bell’s Palsy and post-stroke sequelae, stubborn conditions such as long-haul Covid and Lyme Disease, and much more.

 

Jenece's formal education includes the Diploma of Acupuncture from the Canadian College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine (Nova Scotia), PhD in Music Composition from the State University of New York at Buffalo (New York), Masters degrees in both Music Composition and Vocal Performance from the University of Akron (Ohio), and the Bachelor of Arts degree in Ethnomusicology & Music Composition from Bowling Green State University (Ohio).
